As we wrap up Memorial Day weekend with much nicer weather than we started, it was a wet one for the record books. With 1.96" of rain from Sat-Mon, this was the third wettest Memorial Day weekend dating back to 1948 for Pittsburgh behind only 1997 with 2.90" and 2000 with 2.27".
Earlier, we shared the early-week forecast, which includes some highs reaching the 70s. Those type of readings will be harder to come by starting later this week and continuing into May. A cooler-than-normal pattern is likely to settle in and linger for a while.
