@Exturn527@currys That’s awful. I’ve heard of so many who have had experiences such as this. I can’t believe it is still happening. It’s disgusting from such a large company. I’m glad you got sorted in the end but the stress it causes is just irresponsible.
Anyone successfully complained to @currys before? I’m in talks with the financial ombudsmen and a legalteam taking legal action as I am four weeks past return and still waiting on a refund for a returned freezer - and Christmas is this week - no freezer, no refund and no food…

@currys I’ve tried this - and was told on the call to Currys yesterday that it would be in today. And still nothing. It’s Christmas Eve tomorrow. No money no food. Utterly disgusted. I’m in talks with the financial ombudsmen regarding Civil Procedure Rules, and the consumer rights act.

@shearersbuddy@currys Thanks for the info, it’s about the lack of refund a month later after returning the freezer unused. Also about having small children, ill health myself, and now the lack of food, money or freezer in the days before Christmas. I’ll defo be looking into this. Thank you

@WirralGlobeNews@WirralGlobeNews great story for you - look at the sheer amount of complaints @currys has! Lack of refunds for returns and lack of promised deliveries. Awful company!
@jayavfc61@currys Wouldn’t trust @currys anyway Jay. I Returned a freezer 4 weeks ago, still no refund and spoke to at least 6 different people who all keep lying about when I will get it. Now taking legal action. No food no refund right on Christmas just empty promises. Absolute joke!

it’s not good is it. Customer service tells you that it’s been processed when in actual fact it’s another wait for 72 hrs. Load of rubbish. Won’t we’ve buy from here again! Wait until my legal team get in touch! Currys!!!! @WirralCouncil@WirralGlobeNews
