faith is from God - he gives it to us by grace - and he is the author and finisher/perfector of it - none of that is from us

Interesting article on the word Biblicism and how the correct historical usage is simply Sola Scriptura and was a pejorative by Roman Catholics against this Reformation doctrine and Protestants!

If people claim historical accuracy, the Reformation, and "back to the sources" (or latin term Ad Fontes) then why misuse the word Biblicism?

No, not unjust. But in your scenario, can you honestly say God is all-compassionate and all-loving? He COULD save us but He CHOOSES not to offer salvation to even one. What sort of “loving father” would you be if you adopted this approach with your children?
