Today we said goodbye to a patient who had been on the ward for 7 weeks. He has been a true Inspiration to us all. Our CSW Jay brought some new clothes for him to travel home in, as his family couldn’t get in to bring him any. Thank you Jay beautiful act of kindness.

We would like to thank Mia. She made a plea on her social media accounts for toiletries for our patients. She has been overwhelmed with all the kind donations. She has managed to make 100 toiletry bags. Some bags have been distributed to ward 12 and 9. #AllInThisTogether

We as a ward would like to send huge thank you to @IcelandFoods for the donations we received today from the scheme they have set up. Mostly to the people of Walsall for buying items to be brought into the hospital for staff. We shared this with ward 11 and 12 #AllInThisTogether

Ward 16 CSW’S Sam and Katie helped patients to write letters that were sent off to loved ones last Friday. We have now received letters back from relatives that are unable to visit. #KeepingYouConnected
