@itshaileyreese Oh I remember that! It traumatized me for life! It is my first conscious memory and it’s the realization that parents can die! My mom still brings up her finding me screaming in tears at the tv at 3 y/o. I’m glad they took that out haha
The last two years have been absolute hell for nurses but today a nurse was criminally charged for an error that did not lie solely in her hands. So again, as the nursing workforce continues to bleed out and no one is left at the beside, dont say we didnt warn you. #RaDondaVaught
@mcwattsup I got mine Friday and I didn’t have any side effects. As a pharmacist, I’d suggest (as long as your dr tells you it’s ok) to schedule a dose of ibuprofen every 6h for that day and the next. Keep ahead of the possible soreness, fever, and aches
@KissTheMiMes @Rookierundown @jonkerlin He didn’t have to stay there. He was abused &shouldn’t have had to go through that.Blood wards or not.If he had to live in that house, someone should’vebeen there to ensure he was treated well.Which would have happened if Harry’s placement went through the right legal channels.
@KissTheMiMes @Rookierundown @jonkerlin And yeah, there might have been a chance for him to become corrupt but was it Dumbledore‘s place to make that choice for him? He is technically totally unconnected to Harry. He should not have been making any decisions for him because he was not Harry’s legal guardian.
@KissTheMiMes @Rookierundown @jonkerlin Harry was 11 the first time he really fought Voldemort. He was 17 when he “chose” to die. He was a minor. A child. He did not have the mental development to really choose to fight and die in a war. There is a reason you can’t join the military till you become an adult.
@Rookierundown @KissTheMiMes @jonkerlin Conditioning him over time to think that his life was not that important. In all honesty, I believe Dumbledore was as big of a villain as Voldemort and he was and still is loved for it.
@Rookierundown @KissTheMiMes @jonkerlin Exactly! Dumbledore worked very hard to turn Harry into the perfect pawn. Never asking if he wanted to fight (not that Harry could give consent as a minor). Just pushing him into life threatening situations and praising him when he did as expected.
@KissTheMiMes @Rookierundown @jonkerlin And not gonna lie, reading the first few chapters of any HP book hurts because of how much abuse Harry goes through and how much you can imply from what is not said. And it’s just glossed over every time. NO ONE helps him out of there.
@Rookierundown @jonkerlin Exactly! And since he was pretty much the only person to know where Harry was growing up, he either had no idea that Harry was abused (in which case it is his fault for not checking in appropriately and why it should have been left to the ministry) OR he DID know and did nothing.
