@16au003 Patient interaction is important! I'm 1 that continues 2 see a specifc health provider after a good experience with them. #HSOP2016

@16au009_ I see this as a problem as well. I feel like customers value that relationship w/ their healthcare professional. #HSOP2016

#HSOP2016 Is there extra precautions that could be put in place so that there's no errors while loading the carousel?

[16au105 @16au105]

@16au038 Counting systems are definitely a time saver!! I used them so much during my rotation & couldn't imagine not using them. #HSOP2016

@16au085 I think IVR will help improve patient interaction at the counters which helps keep customers happy with their services. #HSOP2016

[16au105 @16au105]

IVR is a great option! It's more direct & would free up workers during busy times. It would be great 2 have this as an option. #HSOP2016

#HSOP2016 Thoughts about "old school" pharmacists/pharmacies trying 2 implement technology n2 their practices when they've had no exposure?

[16au105 @16au105]

eRx patient education is key! They need 2 understand the pharmacist still needs 2 approve the prescription w/ their safety n mind. #HSOP2016

[16au105 @16au105]

@16au037 @16au060 I've heard pharmacists say students w/ a PharmD degree will underqualified vs students w/ residency experience. #HSOP2016

@16au122 @16au051 @16au029 I just talked to a pt who had an allergic rxn bc the pharmacy didn't know about her codeine allergy. #HSOP2016

[16au105 @16au105]

@16au029 @16au151 I used this app last year during the vaccination course & my summer rotation it was helpful to have it so handy. #HSOP2016

[16au105 @16au105]

@16au051 I agree. I haven't heard of any problems & consumers agree to terms & conditions so I'm sure EHR will be similar. #HSOP2016

#HSOP2016 I think collection receptacles are a better option than mail back programs for drug disposal. Opinions? https://t.co/rMIsLAUivW

[16au105 @16au105]

#HSOP2016 Does anyone work for a pharmacy that has a collection receptacle or is part of a mail back program for controlled drug disposal?

I would like to see a centralized system to make health care easier to navigate for patients and their providers. #HSOP2016

The topic I found most interesting this semester was "Pharmacist role in emergency preparedness" #HSOP2016
