Rutherford, who is from Pryor, Okla., helped lead Pryor HS to a state championship in 2024

This year, she is batting .596 with 21 RBI and 11 steals

This morning, I got to hit with Kyle Horan—my favorite part of softball each week! 🥎

We worked on staying behind the ball, but our main focus was hitting with intention. He also walked me through the mental side of the game, which is sometimes exactly what I need. I’m always thankful for the lessons that strengthen both my swing and my mindset!

I am SOOO excited to announce my commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of New Mexico!

I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing me with this opportunity and for leading me exactly where I’m meant to be. Thank you so much to my family, who has been there at every single game, through the long road trips, flights, and every exciting moment. I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today without the constant love and support that they give me.
Thank you to my lovely friends and teammates for being my backbone and for the relentless encouragement we share with each other.
A HUGE thank you to all of my coaches throughout my career for having faith in me, challenging me, and keeping my love for the game alive.
