@lincolnmurphy Once I heard you say ‘desired outcome’ in the past, I knew that was it. It’s really simple if you can block out all of the noise. I think the experts just want to make things more complicated to justify their expertise.
@tjkozikowski I know many people who love Southwest but it’s not for me. I’m a planner and I like to choose my seat. The cattle call & uncertainty of where I’ll end up on the plane make me anxious. It’s that whole appropriate experience thing that I’ve heard someone talk about on occasion. 🤣
Customer Success is not tied to any business, revenue, operating, or engagement model.
In other words, Customer Success is NOT just for SaaS companies.
Figure out your customer's Desired Outcome and solve for it.
Simple.
Applies to any type of business.

I wish people that copied me would copy something that would make the world a better place... like, start being a vegan like me.
It won't help you get more customers, but you would maybe start to be a better person and would actually do something good for the planet and society.
If you choose to copy my style of dress and unprofessional speech you should know that the ONLY reason it works for me is that it's authentic. Even then, it turns off more people than it attracts. Your inauthentic attempts will likely be even less successful. Also, don't copy me.
