Wesley was arrested in Escambia County, Alabama, Friday afternoon, and has been charged with human trafficking and attempting to elude police.

Alabama State Rep. Brett Easterbrook was also arrested; he was charged with human trafficking and prostitution.

Satsuma City Schools officials said the mayor and City Council were notified of Wesley’s resignation and said they will “move forward with the process of filling the position.”

A few things I found while building the 2026 Midterm Candidate Due Diligence site.

Ken Paxton Jr. has raised over $87M from outside groups for this election, AIPAC looks to be buying MD candidates, and AI and Data Centers are buying Darline Graham. Jeff Yass and Miram Adelson lead the individual contributors with Elon Musk in the top 4. And nationally there is $1.75 billion in outside money this cycle.

It's getting messy in the Midterm streets. But you no longer have to be blind to who owns your candidate.

They don't have to give it up peacefully. They just have to lose it legally. Article V doesn't ask for their permission. It doesn't go through Congress. It doesn't go through the courts. It goes through the states — and the states answer to the people, not to them. When enough state legislators sign the pledge, the convention happens whether they like it or not. That's not a revolution. That's the Constitution working exactly as designed for exactly this moment. They built a trapdoor into their own system and forgot we could read.

And if they try anyway — if they physically resist the lawful will of the sovereign people after every constitutional mechanism has been exhausted — the Founders answered that too. The Second Amendment was never about hunting. It was never about home defense. It was written specifically for this moment. An armed citizenry is the final check on tyranny that no court can overturn, no agency can regulate away, and no politician can legislate out of existence. That's why the Reconstitution hardcodes it without exception. Not because we want that fight. Because they need to know we're ready for it if they force it. The tree of liberty has deep roots. We'd prefer to water it with ballots. But the Founders were clear about the alternative.

Hundreds of ‘tiny hats’ confessed and were executed for poisoning wells all across Europe during the 14th Century, although they did a good job of wiping this from history.

It’s insulting to suggest that Christian Europe simultaneously were mistaken or lied about this and executed innocent people.

Of course they’ll do the same and expunge their recent genocide and the COVID death-jabs given the chance.
