@qatarairways I'm am finally giving up with diplomacy with you guys. I paid almost 3000 euros for a business class return flight to Bangkok from Dublin. You cancelled my return flight on March 8 and offered me a measly refund of 878 euros in May. I have refused it. Why only this amount?????
@qrsupport I have reached out to you nby dm even before you wrote this and you have not replied. What am I supposed to do next as a privilege silver member?
@JoshAcklam@qatarairways I'm in Thailand too. I mean we are lucky in ways..I'd rather be stuck here than Doha but I still want to get home again. It seems noone is getting any satisfaction for any airline right now.
@khalil_ibhee@JoshAcklam@qatarairways But, they can at least keep passengers up to date and offer advice on how to move forward. I'm still waiting for them to do just that.
All airlines are pretty good normally and they always boast about it. Their true support comes out in times of crises like now as we experience
@qatarairways@qrsupport
Can you please get back to me reference my flight qr829 tomorrow evening and qr19 to Dublin? I'm a silver privilege member with you guys but it obviously means nothing. I have already DMd you. I and thousands of others need your support. Pls give it.
@SarveshSP91@qatarairways I have the same in Bangkok. Tne live chat is not working and they say to call. I spent all day today calling and each time either engaged tone or they hung up. Pathetic for the world's best airline. They might be when everything is going to plan but are just like all the rest ..
@qatarairways I have flight tomorrow evening , qr829 to Doha and then qr 19 to Dublin. It is still showing as "scheduled" . If it is cancelled will I automatically be put on the same flight the next day?
@deirdreheenan@guardian Absolutely agree with your comments here Deirdre. What a shameful piece of work by @guardian, the writer being devoid of any sense of reality. I looked up to Sinead who was a fearless and wonderful person .
Ireland's railways contain several of the world's most scenic train journeys. But much of the magnificent network built by our Victorian ancestors has been allowed to crumble. Investment in rail would save lives, bring tourists & make us more productive.

#Brexit dividend for Ireland! Ireland assumes UK's role as US gateway to EU. Brexit benefits are clear. Irish economy will grow 6% next year while UK will shrink 0.2%! GDP per head now twice UK's.
Ireland owes thanks to @Conservatives. @BBCr4today

What must other countries think when they hear @Jeremy_Hunt trying to pull the wool over people's eyes?
UK is the worst performer in the G20, with the IMF projecting our economy will shrink 0.3% in 2023 and expand 1% in 2024
Economic elephant in the room #Brexit?
@BloombergUK
Well, as John states, a debacle in the making. As time passes we will continue learn more of the debacle called Brexit ( word doesn't even deserve a capital "d")
Body representing voluntary groups in NI on the replacement of EU funds: 'The stark reality is that todayโs funding is half of that previously available.
This will have a devastating impact on those groups who have not received funding...a debacle'
