@shmokedabong@sbell021 Don’t get the bought vs built argument because MSU inability to go to the portal to get any offense/3 point shooting is what cost them Friday. I hate the direction college sports rn but ability to spend in NIL unfortunately is part of path to success in modern college sports.
Michigan is on a 45-12 run
Michigan is leading by 44 points. Gonzaga has 43 points.

I’ve been covering college basketball for 20-plus years and have never, ever seen a team absolutely dominate 3 teams in 3 consecutive days like this.
This is absolutely incredible.
Here's what's left:
▪️vs Washington
▪️at Michigan State
▪️vs Purdue
▪️at Northwestern
▪️at Maryland
▪️vs Ohio State
Looking back at my preseason prediction, I had the Wolverines at 4-2 at this point in the season - except I had the two losses coming against Oklahoma and Nebraska.
When it comes to the rest of the schedule, I expect Michigan to finish the regular season at 9-3, with Ohio State being the most likely loss. That would keep them out of the College Football Playoff again, but with so much returning talent, a strong bowl performance feels likely. That would cap year two of the Sherrone Moore era at 10-3.
I get that it doesn’t feel great right now given how things have looked so far, but a 10-3 finish in year two under Moore would still represent a step in the right direction. There are some solid pieces to build around, but it’s also clear there are major needs that must be addressed through the transfer portal this offseason.
It’s too early to start calling for a coaching change, but it’s fair to begin asking some tough questions.
Ultimately, how this team performs down the stretch will say a lot about Moore’s influence on the program and where things are headed moving forward.
