Wind power has some great applications, but off shore wind is filthy, kills wildlife, and costs more that it can produce. In Massachusetts, it has only been possible with tax credits and subsidies, and “demand charges” wich fall hardest on the working poor. I am deeply grateful the President stopped it.

It is so hard to follow the money. Wind is awesome in many applications. OFFSHORE wind is 25 kinds of toxic crazy, which no one understood until it was up and running. Obviously, creating a wind turbine, locating it in the ocean, and maintaining it over its lifetime has a carbon footprint. Guess what? There is no for that turbine to produce more power that was used to build it. That’s the surprise. They can never produce enough energy to pay out. The profit is in tricky tax credits and in MA, electric bill “demand charges”. I have tears of gratitude to see this is being stopped. It is killing MA.

God bless you, Sec Burgum. Who didn’t like wind power in the begining? Now we know- offshore wind is filthy with dirty discharges of hot chlorinated wastewater, exploding blades spewing asbestos, etc into the ocean, and diesel diesel diesel laden maintenance. And - MA statehouse pays for it with “demand charges” on electric bills. Harvard and its minions of elite democrats can double down. Working people witnessing destruction of our oceans, unable to pay their bills, have had enough. In New Bedford, MA, #1 USA fishing city, 2 city councilors just switched to GOP. Viva la revolution. The working people in Massachusetts send heartfelt thanks for saving us.
