Crews are now also beginning to mobilize in the southbound direction of U.S. 183 and MoPac to complete the remaining resurfacing work. These activities may continue to impact traffic nightly, including additional instances of full closures of the roadway. Detours will be provided for full closures. This work is expected to last an additional month or two, though this timeline may shift due to logistical factors such as weather. UPDATE: The final road resurfacing operations have progressed on the 183 North Mobility Project with crews nearly complete with the northbound directions of resurfacing on both MoPac and U.S. 183. A full closure of the northbound U.S. 183 mainlanes is expected tonight - Friday, May 8, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Lakeline Mall Dr. and Lakeline Blvd. (subject to change due to weather or other factors). This full closure will allow crews to complete much of the remaining resurfacing activities on northbound U.S. 183. If weather delays the work, a full closure is likely for Saturday May 9, or an alternate date.
