@bbrookingc @Sassafrass_84 The UK and USA rape levels (per capita) are very similar (USA slightly higher). Our knife crime levels are also almost the same (per capita). Gun crime is incredibly higher in the USA. UK has 30-35 per year. USA 11000 to 15000. And we still have over 2million guns in the UK.

@Sassafrass_84 We didn’t give up our firearms. There are over 1.5million shotguns and 0.5million section 1 firearms (rifles etc) in the UK. I’ve got 4 shotguns in my house including a pump action. We just decided we didn’t need sidearms and assault rifles!
