@PanAdam1 It was a great discovery for Spain as they now had control over the area and pretty much all of Panama. When it comes to the Natives, many of them experienced cruelty from other Spanish explorers such as Pedrarias Dávila.
January 19, I finally made it back to Santa Maria after I went back through the land of Ponca and Careta. I've got tons of gold and just sent one of my men to Spain with a fifth of my gold as the law requires.
I finally made it back to the main land and I found out one of my allies had died and his son has taken over. Oh well as long as he doesn't cause trouble he'll be fine.
Quick little update, one of these chieftains decided to start a huge fight. Well I managed to defeat him so there goes more money and land under my belt.
So I've been passing through a lot of different lands and you know some of the chieftains have been friendly. It's really improved my view of these people.
So its almost October and the weathers acting up but I can barely see the Islands so it's looking up. You know, these canoes are really holding up, maybe these people aren't all bad.
I've crossed the lands of Coquera and Tumaco. I managed to easily defeat those weaklings. Guess what? They had tons of gold and pearls its amazing this trip's finally paying off.
Its been two days and we've finally reached the coast. Pretty amazing huh? I've sent some people on an expedition into this new place. I've decided to call it the South Sea, pretty nice huh?
After descending the mountains we've made our way into the lands of Chiapes. It was another victory for us not really too hard. Jeez I'm getting really tired of all these different "Chieftains" .
So it came out Torecha wasn't friendly. He got killed in battle with us and his men decided to join us which I guess I can appreciate. However, some of my men decided to stay in the town we fought in and now we're down a few men and that I don't appreciate.
