We've had hundreds of Ukrainian immigrants settle in our small town in the last year, and dealing with them reminded me that I'm not actually racist and that I hate everyone equally.
Some 20 year old in a rusted out honda civic blasting some god awful electronic music knocked on my door and in broken English tried to get me to donate to his personal tuition fund.
I'm looking into this guy's eyes and I see the lights are on but nobody's home, and I'm feeling like Hitler did after he ventured too far East of the Rhine and after witnessing the squalor, asked his generals if he was even still in Europe.
I don't honestly care if you're white.
I am down right sick and tired of hearing foreign languages spoken in my grocery store by people who don't understand how the concept of personal space works or sharing a highway with people not used to driving in a first world country.
If you don't speak my language, understand and respect the cultural nuance of my nation let alone the region you've been drop shipped to, then you are going back with the rest of them.
It’s interesting that this crucifix stood in Lebanon untouched amongst our supposed enemies, yet 5 seconds after “our greatest ally” invades the country, they destroy an icon of Jesus.
I’m not a dove, I want war
I want war with the people sending boatloads of rapists to the UK
I want war with the people who flooded the heartland with opioids
I want war with those tearing down our statues
I want war on those transing kids
Those people aren’t in Tehran
“Try that in Texas!”
*developers build massive illegal immigrant colony*
“Hey, I said, TRY that in TEXAS!”
*Hindus take over cities and build 100 foot golden heathen god statue*
“HEY! I SAID YOU TRY THAT IN TEXAS!”
*Houston opens US’s first Islami Shia Muslim center*
Here's something extremely offensive.
Either the modern state of Israel is Jewish,
or Jesus is Jewish,
but they cannot both be true.
I know, I can almost hear the horde of Christian zionists screaming at me through their computer screen, so I'll use the only authority that we both agree on to prove this point; the Bible itself.
Do you know why the modern Jewish lineage is based on the maternal line and not the paternal line?
Modern scholars will point to the fact that Abraham also begat Ishmael, the father of the Arab nations, and had Jewish lineage been paternal then he would also be part of the promise.
That is only half the truth and as we know, the devil's in the details.
Most people don’t know this, but the Jewish Patriarch Boaz married Ruth who was a Moabite foreigner.
Boaz own mother was Rahab, the prostitute from Jericho who was famously known for saving the Israelite spies and who was spared from the destruction of Jericho because of it.
She married a man from the Tribe of Judah, despite being a Canaanite gentile.
Ruth and Rahab are important, because they are both wives of men directly linked to the lineage of Jesus the Messiah.
Now you’ll understand why modern Jewish lineage is based on the maternal line; because if a mother is a gentile then according to these modern rules the children would not be Jewish at all - thereby discrediting the historical lineage of Jesus Christ himself.
Most people also don’t realize that during the Israelite's Exodus from Egypt, many Egyptians fled with them to escape God’s wrath and serve the one true God alongside the Israelites, whose power and true authority they had just witness in full display during the ten plagues.
It’s not surprising that we see later in Deuteronomy Moses instructing the Israelites to “love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.”
The more you study the Old Testament, the more you begin to understand that God’s chosen people were not differentiated from others for the purpose of ethnic purity, but for the purpose of worshiping the one true God.
Ethnicity was not the key to salvation in the old testament, it was simply the tool God used to fulfill prophecy and to separate his people physically from the “non believers” (that’s what the true meaning of the word Gentile means, after all).
In Deuteronomy the Lord did not forbid intermarriage with foreign tribes for the purpose of ethnic purity, but for the purpose of the religious purity.
“Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, for they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you.”
The promise of salvation is not for those who are of a certain ethnicity, but for those who accept Christ as Lord.
“And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.” says the Lord is the Gospel of Matthew.
“But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit…”
“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows his riches upon all who call upon him.”says the apostle Paul in Romans.
"Now the promises were made to Abraham and his seed. It does not say, and to seeds, as of many, but as of one, and to your seed, which is Christ." says the apostle Paul in Galatians.
These truths echo Arthur Koestler's propositions in his book, the 13th Tribe, where Koestler refutes the notion of a Jewish "race" stating that most Jews of the contemporary world did not come from Palestine and are not even of Semitic origin.
In fact, his research shows that most Jews originated in what today is the Ex-USSR. And that a group of people there became Jews through conversion, on the orders of their king.
Israel's first prime minister, Golda Meir's real last name is actually Mabovitch.
Israel's current prime minister, Benjamin Netenyahu's real last name is Mileikowsky.
You see, the truth of the matter, biblically and historically, is that it was never about ethnicity.
Christ himself said in the book of Luke, "begin not to say among yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say unto you, that God is able from these stones to raise up children unto Abraham."
Christ said later in the book of John that, "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
My brothers in Christ, it was and is still simply about faith in the promise.
That's it.
That is the truth of the history of God's chosen people.
It's why they were chosen and why later the vineyard was taken away and given to others; for the purpose was the promise, and Jesus himself was the fulfillment of that promise.
Which leads us to another very important question.
Who then, does Jerusalem and the promises belong to?
