3/3 - So then if the time was shorter in college uptick cases than the time in which hockey had an increase and the fact that the rough hockey positive rate was a much lower 0.02% vs college which was 0.1% why was it necessary to shut down the sport/rinks and not the colleges??

2/3 - the governor said results roughly work out to a positive test rate of 0.1%. "That's a positive test rate that's obviously well below the statewide average and it shows that colleges and universities and students are doing their part to make sure that they open safely."

3/3 I’ve had to dismiss a kid from getting on the ice because I was told “I’m waiting on my results but I feel fine” or my favorite when finding out a kid didn’t go to school because they felt sick and showed up at the rink “my mom/dad said it was ok because I feel fine now”

2/3 Ive seen rink staff ask people to wear a mask or use the posted exits and entrances and I’ve seen people comply and an even larger group ignore the requests I’ve watched kids running around rinks with no masks and parents doing nothing about it

1/2 The state has punished all for the irresponsible actions of a few much like most coaches I’m in 3 different rinks every week and 3-5 others in a month and it needs to be said hockey is not the issue it is irresponsible players and parents bringing covid to the rinks
