@hisham0080@ConorMcGilligxn You're ignoring players' salaries. Orta gave players like Gelhardt ridiculous deals, while Sunderland paid players peanuts. Agents will rarely, if ever, consider wage reductions when players move. Therefore, it's much harder to get good fees for players on inflated deals. #lufc
@JacobHorsfall_ So whenever you achieve something, you sing about Leeds, but seriously don't expect something back when things go wrong for you? In this life, when you start something, expect to get something back. #lufc
@England@FIFAWorldCup To win the WC, you have to beat top countries, not the type of teams played in qualifying. If Tuchel thinks the likes of Burn, Toney and Henderson will help beat those countries, he probably shouldn't be England manager.
@DarrenC37382695@LufcApl The standard has been far lower this season than last. Sunderland was an extreme case, cos they went up with ridiculous PSR room, so they could spend nearly £200m. Even then, based on their advanced stats, they've had everything imaginable go in their favour.
@GrahamSmyth 1st half reminiscent of Sunderland at home. Really poor from Farke. Outnumbered in mf & did nothing until HT. It was a game plan based on fear instead of a bold one against a struggling team. Too many players didn't turn up. Ref was a disgrace.
@BerenCross Tactically awful from Farke, especially 1st half, outnumbered in mf & he did nothing til HT. Some really poor individual performances. Ref was an embarrassment. #lufc
@NLgyles@_chancey_@John_y_1968@talkSPORT Historically they did have big crowds and I think a club's size is more about it's following around the World, but I never saw Chelsea as being as big as the biggest English clubs. Neither are City imo. Both are big clubs, but not on the level of some others imo.
@NLgyles@_chancey_@John_y_1968@talkSPORT They're certainly a more attractive proposition for players and a better team, but it's a tiny club. People seem to confuse size for wealth, quality of the current team, etc. They're a far better team than Ipswich, but a much smaller club.
@TalkBournemouth No, but it would have stood if he'd scored with his shoulder, which was the relevant body part that was offside. Just learn the rules instead of showing your ignorance.
@TalkBournemouth U need to learn the rules. Look at the straight on view. If u could magically erase Piroe, nothing changes. Your players block your keeper's view & no chance he saves it. Therefore, Piroe not affecting the play, therefore not offside. That's the law whether u like it or not
