चिकित्सा शिक्षा का लाभ प्राप्त कर रही एक विद्यार्थी #सेजल द्वारा सार्वजनिक मंच पर प्रणीत मोरे के कार्यक्रम में देहदान से प्राप्त शवों (कैडेवर) के संबंध में अशोभनीय एवं आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणियाँ की गईं। यह न केवल देहदाताओं और उनके परिवारों की भावनाओं को आहत करता है, बल्कि #चिकित्सा #शिक्षा की गरिमा तथा उस पवित्र परंपरा का भी अनादर है, जिसके कारण लाखों विद्यार्थियों को सीखने का अवसर मिलता है।
@dadhichidehdan समिति का स्पष्ट मत है कि #देहदान केवल एक चिकित्सा प्रक्रिया नहीं बल्कि समाज और #मानवता के प्रति, सर्वोच्च #सेवा एवं #समर्पण का प्रतीक है। हमारे देश में अनेक जागरुक एवं प्रतिष्ठित नागरिक #आध्यात्मिक एवं #सामाजिक जीवन से जुड़े लोग, अत्यंत श्रद्धा और सम्मान के साथ अपनी देह चिकित्सा शिक्षा एवं अनुसंधान के लिए दान करते हैं, ताकि भावी चिकित्सक बेहतर प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर सकें और समाज की सेवा कर सकें।
हमें संतोष है कि इस विषय को समाज ने गंभीरता से लिया। सोशल मीडिया सहित विभिन्न वर्गों ने इस कृत्य की व्यापक आलोचना की और इसके प्रति अपना स्पष्ट विरोध दर्ज कराया। जनभावनाओं तथा नैतिक उत्तरदायित्व के दबाव में संबंधित विद्यार्थी को सार्वजनिक रूप से क्षमा याचना भी करनी पड़ी, जो यह दर्शाता है कि समाज देहदान जैसी महान परंपरा के सम्मान के प्रति सजग और संवेदनशील है।
यह भी उल्लेखनीय है कि इस प्रकरण को लेकर विभिन्न स्तरों पर गंभीर संज्ञान लिया गया है। मामले में शिकायतों एवं एफआईआर की कार्यवाही की जानकारी सामने आई है। राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (NCW) तथा महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोग द्वारा भी इस विषय पर संज्ञान लेते हुए संबंधित पक्षों से जानकारी एवं स्पष्टीकरण मांगा गया है। वहीं, ऑल इंडिया मेडिकल स्टूडेंट्स एसोसिएशन (AIMSA) ने भी इस प्रकार की टिप्पणियों की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए कहा है कि चिकित्सा शिक्षा में कैडेवर विद्यार्थियों के ‘प्रथम शिक्षक’ होते हैं और उनके प्रति सम्मान बनाए रखना प्रत्येक चिकित्सा विद्यार्थी का नैतिक एवं व्यावसायिक दायित्व है। इन सभी घटनाक्रमों से स्पष्ट है कि समाज, चिकित्सा जगत एवं संस्थागत निकाय, देहदान और चिकित्सा शिक्षा की गरिमा से किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता स्वीकार करने के लिए तैयार नहीं हैं।
हम यह आशा करते हैं कि यह मामला केवल सेजल के क्षमा मांगने से पूरा नहीं होता। जो FIR हुई है, उसमे पूरी जांच होने के बाद कोर्ट में यह विषय जाना चाहिए और सेजल व #प्रणीत_मोरे को इसका दंड मिलना चाहिए।
