It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of retired Sergeant Michael L. Piro at the age of 63. Sergeant Piro passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from an illness stemming from his assignment in and around the World Trade Center site following the terr*rist attack on September 11, 2001. Sergeant Piro is the 39th member of the New York State Police who has died from an illness resulting from the 9/11 attacks. Piro retired from the New York State Police on March 26,2015, after 29 years of dedicated service. Rest easy Hero 🇺🇸

It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Officer Elijah Garretson, who was killed in the line of duty on January 10, 2026 in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Officer Garretson, just 27 years old, was fatally shot while on duty near the intersection of Great Hills Drive and Lost Trail in Copperas Cove. What began as another shift of service ended in tragedy—one that has left a family shattered, a department grieving, and a community mourning the loss of a young officer who chose a life of public service.

At the request of the Copperas Cove Police Department, the Texas Rangers are conducting an independent investigation into the officer-involved shooting. Authorities confirmed the suspect was later located and, after a lengthy negotiation attempt, took his own life.

Officer Garretson’s dedication to law enforcement was evident long before his final call. He graduated from the Central Texas College Police Academy earning the Academic Award for the highest grade point average in his class—an early indication of the commitment, discipline, and integrity he carried into his career.

On Sunday morning, his body was escorted to a North Texas medical examiner’s office, a somber procession honoring a fallen officer who will never return home.

As so often happens in cases like this, the public is left with limited details—but the loss is unmistakably clear. Another name added to the long list of officers who gave everything in service to others.

Today, we ask you to pause. Remember Officer Elijah Garretson not just for how he died, but for how he lived—answering a call to protect, to serve, and to stand in harm’s way so others wouldn’t have to.

Please keep his loved ones, his fellow officers, and the Copperas Cove community in your thoughts during this unimaginable time.

Macomb County Clerk Anthony Forlini just put out a press release that HUNDREDS of jurors could not serve b/c they are illegal aliens.

Jury service summons are based on random draws from the driver’s license bank.

“239 non-citizens were found in the jury pool over a four month period.”

“It appears 14 of these prospective jurors were registered to vote at some point in time.”

“One in particular appears to have voted several times.”

So, not only are illegal aliens allegedly getting Driver’s Licenses in Michigan,

but they are also allegedly being registered to vote & there’s even a case of one voting.
