Now with another reputable pollster out, it does seems like Léger was the outlier. The trend seems to be that the 🔵CPC have hit the floor but the 🟢GPC & 🟠NDP are making gains on the 🔴LPC now.
@JillSweden1@RodAVanier This morning’s Abacus poll has Carney and the Liberals falling back on all fronts (Leger poll was an outlier) - public opinion is shifting away from the Liberals -not surprising seeing as @MarkJCarney drove us into a recession: https://t.co/TgWojWsPqF
When the mood changes, politics changes.
Our latest Abacus Data federal tracking finds optimism about Canada's direction falling, approval of the federal government dropping, and the Liberal lead narrowing.

The Liberals do photo-ops to send to newspapers, so the newspapers will run stories about the Liberals giving Canadians back a pittance of their own money… as if it’s a favour.
@justinmassie1 We should get the subs that will best defend Cdn Arctic waters, assert our sovereignty over our Arctic and coastal waters, operate under our thick Arctic sea ice, and make sure the US, Chinese and Russian subs aren’t up there. That isn’t the sub that the Germans want us to get.
@irbrodie If he wanted a pipeline (and if a pipeline is going to ever get built), it will take the PM to openly get behind it, say we’re going to get it built in the national interest, and be willing expend his political capital to do it.
@VoteCentreBC You don’t understand anything about BC politics. If the free-entreprise is split, NDP win every time. It’s an iron law of BC politics, going back to WAC Bennett’s days.
@BagelPolling Political considerations are driving this decision. The near-obsolete Gripen is 3 decades old. Doesn’t meet the performance standards set by the RCAF. LPC allow politics to be a factor in policy decision-making (even defence procurement), so we end up with terrible public policy.
@DavidColetto I know more than person who came here for these reasons. Two immigrated to the US and one went back to France (where they originally came from). I think what you describe is more myth than reality. One thing this country can do without are the many delusional myths it clings to.
@DavidColetto The left, the right, ordinary Canadians can all see that the cost of groceries is out of control and creating real hardship. Only the Liberals and the chattering classes in Ottawa deny it.
@justinmassie1@danlebla Why buy a near-obsolete fighter? The Gripen is 3 decades old. By the time we would take delivery, countries will be phasing them out. If Carney buys them, it will be for political reasons, not because it’s what we actually need. Stick to the RCAF assessment which is for the F35s.
