St Peter:Sorry pal,wrong gate.
Duckenfield: Eh? I’m innocent
SP: We don’t see it that way.
D:Where do I go?
SP:over there pal,Satan’s waiting for ya
D:looks full!
SP:they’ll open another gate to let you all in
D:that’s mad, folks will just get hurt, it’s a stupid decision
SP: yup
The 96 were unlawfully killed.
Supporters were not responsible for what happened.
In the eyes of the law Duckenfield is an innocent man.
But he still failed the 96.
Then hid behind a cowardly lie.

Ah Les! One of the icons from the 80s. What I would give to have him back on telly now rather than the shite we have to put up with. @BBCMOTD with @GaryLineker is the ONLY thing to watch
I have just agreed to play the piano for the EYFS nativity as our music teacher has a diary clash with the juniors!
What have I done? It’s years since I did this!!!!
Shortly after declaring bankruptcy, Katie Price makes light of the situation singing Whitney Houston's hit song "I Have Nothing" to the camera 🎤📷

No shit! You don’t need a study for that. Life was better in the 80s without them. We wandered thru towns, villages, played in fields, swam in the river, were out all day and my god we laughed. Forget climate change @GretaThunberg, it’s the innocence of youth that we destroying.
Kevin Keegan as a teacher: when you do that with teachers...you know I’ve kept really quiet, but they’ve gone down in our estimations, and I’ll tell you honestly I wud love it, I wud love it if SLT stopped quoting Rosenshine every effing day of the week
Yes, usually a bottle of Liebfraumilch or Mateus Rosé worked wonders when passing around the O Level exam questions. All change since the 80s. Now it’s a quinoa bake and kale smoothie.
The number of teachers who are mentally and physically collapsing right now makes me very sad. I don’t mean a normal “it’s the end of the week, happy days” kind of collapse, I mean a “I don’t know how I’ll do that again next week, I can’t afford to switch off, I want to cry” kind
OMFG @RogersHistory, a man after my own heart. The problem is though it’s an expectation. In all my 30 years teaching, I never heard of Rosenshine, now he is the dogs and people make money out of it. World has gone mad.
Thousands of the best teachers in the world have never read a word of educational research in their life. Don’t worry if you haven’t had time to read 50 papers - in the end, it’s you, your skill, your passion, your experience, your relationships that matter. 👌
Now kids, it’s children in need day and we’re all supposed to be ‘wacky’. But how wacky do you want? Do you want me to wear a ‘comedy’ tie wacky? Shall I put some ‘wacky’ socks on?
Or shall I drop some MDMA in the dinner ladies’ tea, and we’ll go from there...
Don’t know whether we are coming or going to be honest. VAK & 3 part lessons to be no doubt revived by someone on #edutwitter who has a book to sell. Leave teachers to do what works best for their kids.
This is from last year, but still very useful from @HFletcherWood "What does the research say about marking and feedback?" https://t.co/lpQZ7GXG0C I know that the new paper from UCL on verbal feedback will be another interesting addition
Makes a change from yesteryear when you were allowed to say to a kid, ‘I really despise you. You will amount to nothing in life.’ Can’t say anything in jest these days.
One of the most powerful statements I use in 1-1 conversation with students is; “I really like you, I just sometimes don’t like your behaviour”. Important to distinguish between these two verbally at times!
...everyone in the SMT keeps telling us what so and so says in his / her new book rather than a) leading by example b) observing lessons and c) actually teaching. One for #edutwitter fans out there.
I had a GCSE Music cover lesson today. Objective: make as much noise as you can with as many instruments as you like in the name of music. #cuttingedge
Dear @J_Gomez97 & @sterling7,
May I suggest that you resolve your issues as we did back in the 80s. Find a room, agree that you’re both right, proceed to beat 7 bells of shit out of each other, shake hands and move on.
Regs.

PS4, XBOX, Nintendo Switch are all well and good but nothing beats Daley Thompson’s Decathlon on the @zxspectrumgames. Give me this anytime. Today’s kids are missing out.
