@LastWordOnSpurs@pokeefe1 I think Savinho is being courted as a potential LW player to be honest- maybe with Tel as understudy- surely when Kudus gets fit he’s the first choice RW? Youngsters like Odebert (when fit) and Mikey Moore will also be options on the right?
@LastWordOnSpurs@szyexcl A Progressive midfielder that can pass forwards would be a start + a striker that can stay fit and deliver 15+ goals a season + a high level left winger. Invest properly in quality rather than signing 7-8 average players to replace the average players we already have.
@LastWordOnSpurs@VI_nl I think he’s a decent player and would be a useful addition- Spurs fans that think we should aim for better players have their heads in the sand- top players want champions league clubs or absolutely extraordinary wages- we cannot provide either.
@Daily_Hotspur@TheAthleticFC This is where as a club we need to be more ruthless- genuine big clubs wouldn’t tolerate Lange- in fact, wasn’t he sacked before? By what metric is his performance deemed to be acceptable? I’m at a loss!
@OllieAFCB Look, Bournemouth are a great club and I wish them well next season - but most players would move to Spurs for a number of reasons, not least bigger wages. The same reason why Spurs players leave us- it’s levels and despite poor recent form, Spurs are undeniably a bigger club
@ForestFanF13794@BBCMOTD Bundesliga is ranked 3rd best in Europe (just behind Spain) in UEFA coefficient- and Bayern are No1 in Europe using the same metric- above every English club. I know it doesn’t fit the narrative but he’s just a top class forward who has, and would score goals anywhere.
@SpotliteOnSpurs Unbelievable player- yet still has people that don’t rate him 🤣 really hope he wins the ballon d’Or- without him Spurs are relegation fodder- he was 20+ points a season on his own.
@SebOnFootball It’s all basically financially driven- it’s the richest 6 clubs. Success tends to eventually follow the money- Villa and Newcastle have invested heavily in recent years and guess what- they’ve improved! Not rocket science
@x - can anyone help- my wife’s account has been hacked and the associated email address changed. @X emailed her to inform her- however we now cannot access the account or report the issue as the email doesn’t match the one on the account (obviously)!
@m4n1f35t1t@thespursweb Nah the excuse is missing half our team all season. But the bottom line is- our squad wasn’t good enough to cover that- so yes, we’ve been shit 🤣
@thespursweb No. Looks ok at times but we need to improve the overall quality in this squad if we want to improve on 17th place (and I fully appreciate that we haven’t even achieved 17th place yet)
@Daily_Hotspur@Plettigoal Barca surely can’t afford him. They can’t afford €25m for Rashford can they???
With absolutely zero pressure to sell- why would Spurs consider anything other than an incredible fee for a player who is still contracted for multiple years!
@SpotliteOnSpurs If he scored a hat trick in the World Cup final there would still be haters complaining that 1 was a penalty and one was a tap in. Kane haters are like flat earthers - no amount of evidence will convince them they’re wrong…
@skiersteve23@mitch_fretton@moor_george Watch the game again Steve- spurs played quite well- it might be beyond your comprehension but we are allowed to improve under a new manager - and that 2nd string Villa team had plenty of experienced internationals - probably less players missing than Spurs!
@jamilesdodger This is an incredible take-
Teams rotate every week- palace did this against West Ham recently!
The 7 players they brought in have all started and played premier league games in recent months- most are internationals - they weren’t U21s!
Literally every team does this!
