My father is/was from Mpophomeni Township, Howick, KZN. He grew up to become a building inspector for the Zulu Government in Madadeni Township, Newcastle, KZN.

My mother is from ekuVukeni Township, Ladysmith, KZN. She grew up to become a schoolteacher at Hlalanathi High School in Madadeni Township, Newcastle, KZN.

I was born eMadadeni in 1986 and attended Black & Coloured schools until 1993.

From 1993 until I matriculated, I attended ex-Model C schools with White, Coloured, Indian & Taiwanese scholars.

I attended Rhodes University in Makhanda in the Eastern Cape, and did my Honours in Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.

I worked for Africa Empowered, ABSA & Standard Bank... before becoming a fulltime entrepreneur who was self-employed.

I have failed many times in my small businesses & even owed investors money for many years (my investors were ordinary friends, family & strangers who crowdfunded from R1000 to R5000 on average).

Today, I'm a podcaster on YouTube & make videos & content on other social media platforms.

I own my time
I travel when I want to
I earn more than the average White salary of R12,000 per month
I don't live hand-to-mouth
I've traveled to many countries abroad
I'm well-connected
My voice is heard nationally & continentally
I'm in great health & have a great relationship with my children
I have friends, supporters & business associates from all races

I'm living the South African Dream. I'm living the African Dream.

As privileged as I have become, I still want to help shift the country to become more of a meritocracy... so that every child who is willing to learn skills, work hard, take risks & create value... has an opportunity to win in this life.

Most Black South Africans need to try & heal their minds, transform their visions & rise up to greatness in this country & globally. We have too many examples of ordinary South Africans from villages & townships who comfortably earn over R30,000 per month.

Nevermind the stories of Black South Africans who earn over R100,000 per month, travel the world, lead organizations & drive agendas.

We need to fight political distractions, racial propaganda, gender wars & strive for meritocracy. Strive to create opportunities for EVERYONE who is willing to work hard, apply themselves & add value.

We have a lot of work to do... and I hope my voice, platforms & resources will assist in shifting South Africa into the future. And to be an example for the rest of the world.

The fight is not political. The fight is economic. The fight is spiritual. The fight is educational. The fight is psychological.

And my goal is not to attract all South Africans. Or all Black people. But only the people who share my values & vision for meritocracy. Everyone else will eventually catch on, once we've fixed the systems for the better.
