Ownership and Value Sharing

I’ve been thinking a lot about Sneed DAO and its goal of being a store of value for its holders. To me that means creating a reason[s] to keep the Sneed DAO token as opposed to selling them on the market. If the Sneed DAO token operated like a dividend yielding stock there would be more interest to hold it.

Sneed DAO is seeking to foster developers to develop on Internet Computer. The development of the IC is value creation and Sneed DAO has been created as a blank canvas with the goal of fostering this. Holders of the Sneed DAO token are hoping to benefit from the goals of the DAO. That is why they participate in voting. In the short time that Sneed has come into being it has grown deep roots within the IC community and ecosystem.

Sneed DAO is becoming like a healthy tree that has branches(forks) all over Internet Computer. It is certainly going yield so more good fruit. And everyone who owns the Sneed DAO token is going to be able to eat that fruit without having to sell their share. The creator developers have already demonstrated the ability to create innovative ways of achieving this.

The RLL (recursive liquidity loop) is one of the ways that could be used to create dividends for Sneed DAO that’s staked. Right now the RLL is being staked in an 8 year neuron and the voting rewards are being used to Sneed and sending it to the burn wallet. What if Sneed DAO voted to only burn half of the rewards and distribute the other half to Sneed DAO holders that have them staked in neurons? What if a developer has a profitable dapp that Sneed DAO helps fund and the Sneed DAO community gets a share of those profits?

All of these things would of course be decided by the Sneed DAO community who has their tokens staked in neurons. Sneed DAO could help to develop and fund a project that even has airdrops involved. Official Sneed DAO NFT’s could be voted into existence. Then a portion of those could be airdropped to Sneed DAO holders who have staked neurons. Plus a portion of the royalties could go to the community while the rest goes to the Sneed DAO treasury.

There are so many things that could be painted onto the blank canvas that is Sneed DAO. I’m writing this to illustrate and invite others to share their ideas and thoughts on what they would like to see happen with Sneed DAO. How would you feel about Sneed DAO yielding more reward benefits from staked Sneed than you would from staked ICP?

Is the dApp audited yet?

We simply don't want DEXs to launch on SNS without proper security auditing. A few months ago, when Sonic launched SNS, it faced challenges due to not having a security audit. I believe that other DEXs will receive the same treatment, regardless of whether they are backed by Dfinity or not. Dfinity even voted against our proposal, citing the lack of an audit, and I believe this will be the case here as well. DeFi dApps require audits, and there shouldn't be any double standards, regardless of whether they are from Dfinity's preferred region or backed by Dfinity itself.

@Nof_Taggr Sorry, I don't quite get it. Does this mean that 1 ICP converts to 1000 credits? Hence, if you have < 2 ICP in your account, you should click 'mint' and then '1'? When I clicked mint, it used 1.094 ICP, as you can see from my taggr ICP account.
