Have been wondering how to create support for survivors of #IBSA &stumbled across the @MCFcharityUK . I would like to see an Aussie version/extension of this group. What do you think @tweetinjules ? Who else would like to be involved in advocating for better support for survivors

By support I mean the psychological kind. @tweetinjules your team handle the technological side so well. We need to address the aftermath of #IBSA that stays with the survivor for life #PTSD

I continue struggle with the lack of a remedy. I cannot equate the advocacy I have completed to criminalise the taking & sharing of intimate images with a remedy. I want some justice.

It's interesting that this article does not mention the laws in AU @daniellecitron I think I better read the book. Whilst our laws criminalise the abuse, your right that there is a need for the right to privacy.... I live in hope

Covid finally chased me down. I have been@home dragging myself in and out of bed for 2weeks. Almost at the point where I can breathe naturally but omg I am sleeping 18 hours a day. Broken up of course. Thankyou for the antivirals and x4 vax. That’s what ensured I would survive

@gretastonehouse @AAPNewswire I am shocked to hear about this story. I do not understand why the police could not act! Nor do I understand how the TV News allowed this to be broadcast. What the bloody hell did I fight so hard for laws to cover non consensual taking and sharing of intimate images #IBSA

@McGlynnClare @RPhelpline If only I had the chance to prosecute my act of #IBSA . Instead I fought to help create the worlds first laws that criminalise the taking & sharing on intimate images. I am gobsmacked at how few prosecutions actually make it to court & are then successful.
