Why older people? Because covid was far more dangerous for older people. Do you really not know this? Overall They are 22nd among the 50 states and DC in fully vaccinated population percentage, with a good focus on the older population. I dont understand you're gripe with Desantis being some massive covid murderer. There is no argument, nor data that backs the side @RothVj76227 represents that Desantis was substantially worst and his decisions were huge mistakes that lead to mass deaths. @grok is there any evidence that lockdowns improved net life years saved? In fact isn't there some indication they were more harmful than good when you factor in missed medical screenings, ODs, etc.? Also Desantis embraced the vaccine for older vulnerable populations and was good at rolling it out to them so you cant blame him for that.
