NEW: Arkansas state Rep. Austin McCollum, the Republican nominee for Benton County judge, was arrested Saturday and is facing multiple counts after an alleged domestic incident.

According to Benton County jail records, McCollum was booked Aug. 1 on charges of first-degree false imprisonment, aggravated assault against a family or household member, and third-degree domestic battery.

THE BILLIONAIRES MUST PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES

While the very rich are getting richer, working families are struggling to afford health care, housing, groceries and other basic necessities. In the midst of unprecedented income and wealth inequality, the billionaire class must start paying their fair share of taxes.

My 5% wealth tax, which would apply to fewer than 1,000 billionaires, would raise over $4.4 trillion in new revenue which would allow us to:

✅Provide $12,000 to a working family of four
✅Enact universal childcare
✅Expand Medicare for dental, vision & hearing
✅End homelessness
✅Require a $60,000 minimum salary for teachers

The time is long overdue for the U.S. government to begin representing the needs of working families, not billionaire campaign contributors. Let us stand together. Let’s get this done.
