In Maths, we have been using scales to find objects that are lighter and heavier. We have also been trying to balance the scales using objects of the same mass ⚖️
This afternoon, we have been working with oil pastels to create our own artwork of The Last Supper. We used some famous paintings to inspire us and have worked hard to draw and colour our own pictures 🖍
This morning we went outside for a walk to look for signs of Spring!We noticed it was a bit warmer and the sun was shining. We didn’t need our coats 🌞🌸
In maths this week, 1B have been finding lots of different ways to make teen numbers. We started from 11 and have worked up to 16. We chose different resources to make each number!
Year 1 have been out and about on an autumn walk this week to identify seasonal changes. They spotted lots of beautifully coloured leaves falling, listened to the wind blowing through the trees and tried to avoid the muddy grass and puddles!☔️ 🍂 🍁
1B learnt all about the story of a very important and courageous woman, Rosa Parks, during their workshop for Black History Month. They retold the story through role play and finished with a carnival style celebration 🎉
