Having a conversation with my grandma with Alzheimer’s:
Me: “it was nice seeing you”
Grandma: “it was nice remembering you”
Me: “you remember me??”
Grandma: “I don’t remember your name, but I remember that I love you”
😢😭
@LittleMix I was inspired by your #Strip MV and did this.. all the words on my arm were things people have actually called me and said about me. Thanks for teaching me to let go and just do me! ❤️
My brother died from depression. He also frequently exercised, had supportive friends/family, was successful in school & in work. He had goals that he was constantly reaching- he still killed himself. People who are depressed are not weak minded- they are sick. Understand this.
I’ve been in a situation where I kept thinking the person was gonna change, that they were gonna treat me the way I wanted to be treated, but they just led me on. It was so hard to break the cycle of going back and leaving. So hard to leave and be alone.
All I wanted was a little support and all I get in return are snide remarks and constant yelling. I’ve ignored your phone calls and I’m THIS CLOSE to blocking you. I have more important things to do than listen to your crap. Makes me even more glad that I’m not even home.
