@BBCNews Exactly how many of our meat hygiene inspectors does the government think are British?
On the plus side, it might be a bumper year for Veganuary
Nov 20: Five MSF vehicles parked in front of our clinic in #Gaza city were destroyed by the intervention of the Israeli forces. The clinic was also damaged as a result and part of the building was engulfed by fire. The cars and the clinic were clearly identified with our logo.
@christenkrc I don't think it does. Not a human viruses doctor, but my current approach is mask/isolate if symptomatic. I'd probably test around D1,3,7 ish but honestly wouldn't give a negative result any weight. The one time I caught it, I turned+ve d7, when almost recovered
@christenkrc Not sure about successive variants, but I read yesterday sensitivity to Pi is something like 40% in the 1st couple of symptomatic days. I'll try to find the source...
@garicgymro It only bothers me if I've told you about my wife & you refer to her as my partner. We fought hard for the right to equal marriage, so "partner" was used as a dig in the early years & still stings a bit
@FHawksworth@geoffshumba That's the stuff. Mealworms would be better but they need to be fresh & I love in a village. Stef sometimes jokes that we should farm them.
@Trisha_the_doc@bmj_latest Definitely a good example of pros & cons of being a veterinary vs human patient! More testing availability, less waiting, but fewer treatment modalities & way more steroids
@Trisha_the_doc@bmj_latest Almost certainly but if our patients are out of sorts & we can't tell why we usually do more tests or reach for prednisolone in desperation!
I wasn't even tested for Lyme despite being a vet student who went on the moors every week. Wonder if anyone's tried preds ๐
