So we’re asked to put in a conflict of interest and then they reject it. The guy who rejected it I also have a COI with. I was told all senior management have “unconscious bias training”. So the entire COI process is a shambles 🫨 #academia #bias

3000 words for teaching-research-citizenship sections, then a 300 word abstract, followed by 250 word summaries on those 3 required sections. I’m spending more time counting words than writing the f***ing thing 🤬

@larrylemonmaths @imagineinquiry There are also cultural clashes that can be navigated with parent/community and school partnerships. And teachers need regular inclusion and diversity training throughout their careers from stakeholders in the marginalised communities.
