Meta knew. They were warned. And they chose not to act. In the latest episode of our podcast, Haley McNamara and Dani Pinter break down why there should be no sympathy for a company that was repeatedly warned about the harm its platforms were causing children, yet continued making choices that put profits first. When the consequences are this devastating, “we didn’t know” isn’t an excuse. Listen to the latest episode of the Ending Sexploitation Podcast below and hear why Big Tech needs to be held accountable.👇

Meta just agreed to pay up to $16.7 BILLION over allegations that it harmed children. And the settlement doesn’t stop at a payout. Meta will be required to implement new safeguards, including limits on teen usage, nighttime restrictions, and stronger protections for young users. This is what accountability looks like. Children’s safety cannot be an afterthought.

Pornography isn’t harmless. It can distort expectations about sex, bodies, and relationships. It can normalize harmful sexual behavior, reinforce objectification, and fuel exploitation. And when young people are exposed, it can shape their understanding of sex before they have the maturity or context to process what they’re seeing.
A survivor doesn't owe you the details. They don't owe you the perfect reaction, forgiveness, silence, or an explanation. What they deserve is to be believed, supported, and respected. If someone trusts you with their story, listen without judgment. Let them decide what happens next. And remind them: what happened was not their fault. Supporting survivors starts with believing them. 💙

The traditional gavage practice of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania is a custom that forcibly fattens girls aged 5-15 for marriage.
They are force-fed milk and high-calorie foods several times a day. If they refuse, they are subjected to torture and having their toes crushed.
Today in a scathing open letter, Senator Lankford, rebuked P*rnhub for "preying on children."
Lankford condemned P*rnhub's July 28 message to state lawmakers opposing age-verification requirements, saying the company "has no interest in protecting children.”
"It exposes them to horrific sexual content and does nothing to ensure that children are not sexually abused in the content it hosts…P*rnhub’s letter fails to say the quiet part out loud: P*rnhub would lose customers if children were prohibited from viewing its content,” Lankford wrote.
P*rnhub and its executives must be held accountable to the full extent of the law for destroying the lives of countless children both in front of the screen and behind it.
As a teenager, Michelle Denault was groomed and sexually abused by one of her high school teachers.
She recalls: "My teacher had a motorcycle, and I LOVED him. I really thought, ‘This is love.’ He didn’t have to use fear to get to me; my biggest fear was losing the relationship—losing his love. It’s emotional blackmail.”
Today, Denault helps parents, students, and communities understand how grooming works—and how to protect kids.
