Today we said thank you and good bye to Mrs Merryweather and Miss Lawson, who are leaving High Crags and moving onto new roles. We wish them well with their new jobs and thank them for their time at school.

Our 3 for 2 Scholastic book fair has arrived in school today! We are very excited to offer such a wide variety of books - please come and have a look! Open at 8.30am every morning and 3.15pm every day! 😊 @HighCragsPLA

In PSHE, we have been looking at the story The Friendship Bench, we were discussing how to choose and make new friends. We wrote down 3 things we loved and had to find someone who had similar interests! @HighCragsPLA

Thank you to @_Reading_Rocks_ for our goodybags. The children loved sharing our new story and were excited to recieve their own stickers! We did a book review after we read the story. These are some examples:

Yesterday, Year 1 experimented with Magnets. We looked at different objects that were magentic and non-magnetic! We had lots of fun! 🧲 @HighCragsPLA
