#WorldNoTobaccoDay It is time for supermarkets in the UK to give up selling tobacco products. The retailers are just as bad, and kill just as many people, as the manufacturers, and should be treated with the same disdain.
16th May every year is World Barrett's Day. Barrett's Oesophagus is a precursor condition to cancer of the oesophagus but unfortunately, large sections of society are unaware of the condition. Better knowledge and awareness could save their lives. #WBD#WorldBarrettsDay

"When I was diagnosed with primary biliary cholangitis at 37 I felt so alone. I’ve since been saved twice with a liver transplant, but it’s tough and it’s heavy. There are multiple doctors’ appointments, weekly blood tests, travelling to a hospital far away and getting time off work… but it’s given me the opportunity to raise awareness, educate people and support others in a similar situation. And the British Liver Trust’s patient information, patient stories and support groups have put me in a place of safety and helped me feel supported."
Lisa shares her story for our #NoOneLeftBehind campaign. Find out more and watch the full video: https://t.co/Xenf2FP9YW
