I just verified from a Federal Medical Centre in the South West and Dialysis isn't 12k.

First session is around 100k and subsequent ranges from 70k.

Is this a new initiative?

Seems this government and its agents are out of touch with realities Nigerians are enduring each passing day.

₦12,000/session in a few FMCs is not a solution, it’s a patch. Healthcare demands systemic, not cosmetic fixes.

Why not expand NHIS to cover dialysis comprehensively and increase access nationwide?

A country of 200M people cannot survive on knee-jerk interventions. Real health reform is never piecemeal; it must be structural and sustainable.
