Personally, I think when the Government gives you money it comes with strings attached.
How about cheaper energy, less tax on fuel and increasing the tax threshold before you pay income tax, 1257L is out dated, people should pay tax on purchases not because you work. To protect low-income individuals, exempting necessary foodstuffs from the sales tax.
