From awkward, nervous freshmen to confident and capable seniors ready for the next chapter... I’m so proud of this class of 2023 and I know that they’ll do big things. Don’t forget that my door is always open and my snack drawer is (sometimes) full… Go Pac 💙💛
Hi, ER Doc here.
If your nose is bleeding, DO NOT TILT YOUR HEAD BACK. This just makes the blood drip down the back of your throat and you will then swallow and/or choke on it. Pinch the soft part of your nose and TILT YOUR HEAD FORWARD. Please tell your friends about this.
We don’t ask pediatricians if they’re gonna “climb the ladder” into geriatrics, so why do we ask high school athletic trainers when they’re going to “level up” into college/pro sports?
Athletes are athletes and they all deserve healthcare. There shouldn’t be a hierarchy.
FANTASTIC morning discussing important topics such as emergency actions plans, medical staff communication and return to play protocols while enjoying a delicious breakfast and great camaraderie. Special thanks to @GreeleySports, @Trainer_Burns@mdmgreiner@AT4HGHS
