UPDATE: The online voting system at Kyambogo University reportedly malfunctioned this morning as students turned up to vote for their guild president. Ssenabulya Adrian, one of the guild presidential candidates, says the system failure denied students the opportunity to exercise their democratic right to vote.

1/4 Today With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, with other comrades we joined Comrade Alphonse and his family in bidding farewell to his beloved father Mzee Nzirirema Valence who departed from this world after a courageous battle with lung cancer at the Mulago.
4/4 His legacy of service, faith, and advocacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
As he is laid to rest in Kyazanga, Nakateete, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Comrade Alphonse,his family and all those grieving this immense loss. MHSRP

2/4 The late was a man of remarkable service and dedication, a devoted educator, a committed Priest, and a tireless activist who championed the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities. His life was one of purpose, compassion, and unwavering commitment to uplifting others.
Dubai, thank you for being such wonderful hosts. I was humbled by the countless Ugandans who greeted me on the streets and offered me best wishes. I don't take it for granted. Praying for PEACE to prevail in the region.
