BREAKING: Colorado's Secretary of State Jena Griswold absolutely shreds Donald Trump after he appeals the state's decision to kick him off the 2024 ballot over his insurrectionism — says he doesn't have a "get out of jail free card."

This is EXACTLY how you stand up to fascists like Trump...

Griswold, a Democrat, appeared on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell and bluntly laid out the facts, and they don't look good for Trump.

"Donald Trump is trying to argue he did not incite an insurrection while Colorado courts at this point have determined that he did," she said, effortlessly shredding through the MAGA arguments against the ballot removal.

"Then Trump goes on to argue that even if he did incite the insurrection, well, the Constitution doesn’t apply to him. I don’t think that’s right," Griswold went on. "I don’t think that there’s some ‘get out of jail free’ card for the presidency that allows Donald Trump to escape scrutiny of the laws of the land and the Constitution."

Last month, Trump formally asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the Colorado Supreme Court's right and just ruling to remove him from the ballot. The state court made their decision since insurrectionists are banned from holding political office under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.

Secretary Griswold said that it is "so important" to have the Supreme Court rule on this issue.

"This is a big question, it’s novel, it’s unprecedented because usually, we do not have presidents trying to steal the presidency," she said. "Usually, we do not have people who engage in insurrection run for president."

She went on to explain that she hopes the ruling comes soon and that she has formally asked the court to move fast.

"So, it’s a quickly approaching timeline," she said. "I do hope that the Supreme Court acts with urgency. Lawrence, the American people deserve to know whether a president can engage in insurrection and then be qualified once again to hold that office."

She could not have put it any plainer terms. The future of this country, of our democracy itself, rests on Donald Trump never becoming president again.

The man is a traitor and an insurrectionist. He belongs in prison. At the very least, he doesn't belong on the ballot.

BREAKING: At today’s Trump rally, Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham goes on stage and gets completely humiliated by his hometown crowd as the they boo him non-stop for over two minutes as soon as he tries to start his speech.

But it got even WORSE for Graham…

The booing didn’t stop, and he couldn’t get them to stop — even with desperate pleas…

First, Lindsey Graham tried to beg his hometown crowd to “please calm down,” but it only made them boo him louder.

Then, Graham pulled out his wildcard, reminding the crowd that he “was born in this county” and “lived 15 minutes down the road!”

Unfortunately for Graham, he forgot that Trump’s cult only has loyalty for Trump — and they continued to boo him even louder, leaving Graham red-faced and humiliated on stage.

It’s a pathetic and fitting end to Graham’s political career. He sold his soul to the devil — and now even his hometown voters have disowned him.

He should have known better than to hitch his wagon to a treasonous cult leader, and now he’s playing the price.

In the state of Iowa, Republicans rolled back child labor laws to allow 14 year olds to WORK in meatpacking plants.

In West Virginia, more than a dozen of them voted against BANNING child marriage.

And in Missouri, they refused to pass a law BARRING children from openly carrying firearms in public.

So when Republicans say that they’re the ones who are “protecting our kids”… they’re full of shit.

WHOOPS! Donald Trump’s new $500 million lawsuit against Michael Cohen means that Trump idiotically admits everything Cohen said is true.

According to former Manhattan prosecutor Karen Friedman Agnifilo, Trump’s lawsuit “kind of makes no sense.”

“Trump is alleging that Michael Cohen broke attorney-client privilege,” but he’s calling them falsehoods, she said.

If they aren’t true, they couldn’t be things Trump told him in confidence. If they were false, Trump would have brought a defamation case which he didn’t do.

She also accused Trump of witness intimidation - by using the court system to go after his foes and adversaries.

Either way, maybe Trump isn’t the genius he thought he was?
