It's quite sad to see game physical media slowly die. Now with Sony going completely digital in 2027, I don't know how much longer it will be before cartridges and discs are completely gone.

I do like digital sometimes for convenience but never wanted physical to die at all. Sad

So I got the MGS Collection on Switch 2 recently on sale since it works in 60fps on Switch 2 and started playing MGS 2 again.

Tried out the Starfox demo.

I had to find out if "Hey Einstein - I'm on your side" was still there.

I'm sad to report that it's now "Hey Genius - I'm on your side".

Currently I'm looking forward to MGS4 releasing this summer.

Finally free from PS3 jail and I can finally play it for the first time properly.

I tried it on PS Now when that was a thing when I had a free month for it and it didn't feel right.

Not a fan of how we knew about OOT remake (and Starfox too) before they were officially released.

I get the want for everyone to get the first scoop on the announcement via a leak - but it really takes the oomph out of the first trailer.

It's a "OMG!" to a "well yeah of course"

I do really want to know more about it.

I'm hoping for a FF7 remake kind of approach that's a major glow up and expansion of the game.

A 1:1 remake - while looking likely gorgeous - doesn't appeal to me as much as a full remake from the ground up

I'm really surprised how little they showed the OOT remake considering it's coming out this year.

We seen more of Xenoblade Genesis and that's a 2027 release lol

And then the infamous "too much water" - I can see that point entirely as the back third of the game is spent surfing on routes and the 8th gym leader is a water gym.

I'd be inclined to agree with the review... 😐

I think this review actually isn't that bad looking back.

HM's overload was a thing back then. They only finally got rid of them next generation - but it's still not as bad as D/P/Pt HM's.

Said this before - but Rayquaza in HG was a stubborn one for me to catch.

Took me several nights of attempts. Would have tried to catch it for like an hour before I fell asleep for several nights. Just refused to be caught.
