David Schwartz (Ripple CTO Emeritus, XRP Ledger co-creator, posting as @JoelKatz on X) has publicly addressed this topic multiple times, primarily clarifying why a higher XRP price improves efficiency for payments and moving value—especially large amounts—rather than setting any specific upper price limit or “ceiling” for handling global-scale money flows.
His core point (repeated in clarifications of older comments): Other things being equal, the higher the price of XRP, the cheaper/more efficient it is to use for payments, as fewer tokens are needed to transfer the same notional value. This reduces friction like slippage, market impact, and liquidity requirements for large transfers. There is no practical upper bound in his framing for utility in moving value (“all the money” in a hypothetical sense); higher prices make large-scale use more practical.
He followed up noting that a low price makes XRP more expensive to use for payments and exchanges due to the larger quantities required.
If XRP costs $1 million, you need only 1 XRP (again costing $1 million in value).
The dollar cost of the value transferred is the same, but higher prices mean far fewer tokens to source, hold, or transact with—making it more efficient, with less slippage or market-moving effects for institutional-scale or high-volume flows. He has extended similar logic to even larger examples (e.g., $1 billion transfers requiring progressively fewer XRP as price rises).
Lower prices make large payments less practical (e.g., analogous to using early low-priced Bitcoin for big purchases, which would “move the market too much”). Higher prices make the asset more suitable as a bridge or intermediary for value movement.
He has countered the idea that XRP “should be dirt cheap” for payments/utility, stating it “can’t be dirt cheap. That doesn’t make any sense” in the context of handling meaningful volumes.
Schwartz has not specified an exact price “high enough” to move all global money or set a ceiling. His logic implies scalability improves with price (fewer tokens = easier to source/liquidity-provide for enormous notional values), assuming liquidity deepens accordingly. Community discussions and articles often extrapolate his examples to trillions in global payments volumes, but he sticks to the efficiency principle.
Bottom line from Schwartz: Higher XRP prices enhance its utility for efficiently moving large values by minimizing the token quantity and associated frictions required. There is no indicated upper limit in his public comments for this dynamic—it’s presented as a general principle favoring higher prices for better payment efficiency (all else equal). These are not investment predictions; always verify primary sources like his X posts for full context, as interpretations vary.
🚨ELON MUSK SAYS HE’S “GETTING PRETTY TIRED” OF GEORGE SOROS INTERFERING WITH AMERICAN DEMOCRACY — AND HE’S READY TO BANKRUPT HIM!
The gloves are off.
Elon Musk just told Joe Rogan he’s had enough of George Soros pouring hundreds of millions into paid protesters and bail funds for rioters. “Here’s a guy who spends hundreds of millions on paid protesters and bail for rioters,” Musk said, “when he could be using that money for something good, like space exploration.”
Then Musk dropped the hammer: he’s been considering ruining Soros for years. “For $100 billion, I could bankrupt him and take his entire operation.”
The richest man on Earth just publicly put a price tag on ending the biggest dark-money network in American politics.
Please do it, Elon. America is ready.

“America, I'm so sorry. I apologize. I take full responsibility..”
“I thought by voting Democrat, liberals, every single year, every single time there was an election. That meant we are going to keep America great. We're going to definitely not negotiate with terrorism. That's exactly what the left media made me believe. And I'm here to say, I apologize. I was brainwashed this whole time. It took me over 20 years to realize that Democrats and liberals are the reason this country is the way it is.”
“I will proudly vote Republican from now on”
People are waking up!!! 🇺🇸🙏🏼

BREAKING: Mark Carney just awarded his close friend, the CEO of Telesat, a $2.3 billion contract.
This is on top of the nearly $2 billion already given to Telesat in taxpayer funding, when Mark Carney became the official economic advisor of the Liberal Party in 2014.
Bringing the total to over $4 billion.
All this, to compete, with one of the biggest companies in the world, SpaceX.
…While also, needing them to launch Telesat satellites into space.

Most of the developed world completely bought the COVID scam.
Never underestimate the power of unlimited money + relentless propaganda to brainwash an entire population.
Only a small minority of us saw through the lies from day one.
Clarity Act, my misconception:
I just learnt something new about how US lawmaking works and thought I would share with others who may not know.
So the process to get Clarity Act into law:
1. Cloture vote - this is to vote to end debate/filibuster, and needs 60 votes min. Currently at 51/60, short 2 Republicans and 7 Democrats
2. Actual floor vote - only needs majority, ie 51, since Republicans are majority, this is no issue.
3. Officially sign into law by POTUS. Trump won't block this kwe hope)
So, we are stuck at point 1. It takes at least 2 days (ripening period to actually vote for cloture), once a petition is made.
So it leaves us really only today, the 5th.
Unless recess is cancelled or delayed or cloture vote passes, the bill has several outcomes:
1. It is shelved and stalled - 1 to 2 yrs
2. Reps file for cloture again - few months
3. Bill goes back to committee - 6 to 8 months
4. Endless debate continues - at risk of democrat majority government canning it entirely.
Now, for those new to the world of negotiations. This is where politicians horse trade, do deals (e.g. you do this, and I will support the Act), and so on.
It's not over yet, we still have some time, but my hopes are held together by a thread.
Crypto holders only last hope is to go and bug your democratic senator and tell them they won't vote for them if they don't say Yes.
