Ghana 🇬🇭 Black Stars centre back, Jonas Adjetey’s story is one of struggle, patience, and belief.
He grew up in Teshie, where life was not easy, but his love for football kept him going. Before football fully opened doors for him, he worked as a painter in Ghana while still chasing his dream.
He schooled at Osino Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, where he served as sports prefect and was already known as a talented footballer.
His football journey later took him through Teshie Football Academy from 2013 to 2019, Great Olympics from 2019 to 2020, and Berekum Chelsea from 2020 to 2022.
Adjetey’s rise took him to FC Basel in Switzerland, where he won trophies before earning a move to VfL Wolfsburg.
He later made his World Cup debut for Ghana against Panama, producing a solid performance at the back as the Black Stars secured victory.
