I read the Louisiana HB208 about the banks being “custodians” of their clients cryptocurrency. The banks will be able to make money off of the cryptocurrency they hold. The bigger question is if the banks will give the people high interest rates or not.

So the U.S Governor signed a bill that allows Louisiana banks to hold crypto on behalf of their clients. I wonder if those banks are going to use the money to invest and make more money like they do with dollars.
