What I find most befuddling about the issue of leasehold reform is the complete dishonesty in now the continued existence of this feudal property ownership system is negatively impacting family life and stability.

No one wants to touch leasehold properties or stay in them at the moment - but the latter are trapped. We have tens of thousands of leasehold flats that are empty in London. This system needs to go!
