Hon. Minister, with all due respect, this post is the problem.
You spent years on TV, radio, and the floor of Parliament dragging your predecessor for the very same thing you are doing right now: deflecting criticism instead of delivering results. You questioned Ursula relentlessly, and Ghanaians backed you. Today, you sit in that same seat, and instead of showing us the difference, you are writing essays about your "dues" and asking critics what they have achieved. That sounds familiar, doesn't it? Because that is precisely what the people you replaced used to say.
Let us be blunt: nobody is disputing your hustle in opposition. But opposition talk and government delivery are two different currencies, and right now, Ghanaians are waiting to be paid in results, not reminders of how diligently you fought to get the job.
You are not under attack. You are under expectation. There is a difference. The same citizens holding you accountable are the ones whose taxes fund your ministry. They are not your enemies; they are your employers. When they ask questions, the answer should be performance, not "what have YOU done?"
Here is what we actually need from you:
1. Show us the results. Let the work shut every critic down.
2. If there are challenges, say so. We can handle the truth.
3. If you need collaboration with other ministries, pursue it. There is no shame in partnership.
4. Stop treating constructive criticism like opposition warfare. You are in government now.
"Results cancel insults," Hon. Minister. Not the other way around.
We are on the same side. But being on the same side does not mean we will clap when the work is not being done. You set the standard yourself; now live up to it Dzata. 🦁
Dear X,
In 2017, when many were afraid to speak for the NDC after the massive 2016 election defeat, a few of us stood up and filled the gap. I was on TV and radio, sometimes 3 times a day. I was on the floor of Parliament as part of a paltry 106 against the NPP's 169. I made sure my voice was heard!
Today, I see the slicing and reposting of old videos to set an agenda. I smile and say, "I have paid my dues." You may think you are cooking, but with each video you post, you show the stripes on my shoulder as I fought to bring my party - the NDC - to power. I stood for something I believed in - the return of JM.
When former Ministers refused to speak and defend, I did, and I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets. So, dig deeper, you will find 10,000s of videos of me toiling either on the screens or in Parliament. Today, JM is back in power with an even bigger victory than we lost in 2016. We have almost 190 MPs in Parliament.
I paid my due, and I hold my head high. Now ask yourself, what have you stood for or achieved? If you think my hustle is simple, like we say on the streets, do make we see! The fact that I have chosen peace does not mean that I am asleep. You think you are agenda-ing, you are simply writing my political memoirs, and I am reading with delight at the testimony of the work we did and achieved.
This one is a #TuffSeed. Go and ask your predecessors and be told! Nothing you say about me today is new and has not been told to me before.
And oh, let me add the emojis. 🦁🇬🇭

@yo_Obamaa They have improved on everything. From the pitch outlook to the style of playing and even how to score is amazing. Impressive and innovative!❤️
The future will not be given to the unprepared; it will be negotiated, it will be built and it will belong to those who prepare, unite and organise for it. #AccraReset#WEF2026

The same God who placed it inside me is faithful enough to bring it to life. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but quitting isn’t an option.
RIP to all 8 souls who died serving Ghana. Your sacrifice reminds us: leadership is service, even unto death.

The news of Ghana’s helicopter crash that killed Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, and 6 others while serving their nation has left me deeply reflective.
Is it all worth it? 🧵1/7

Some callings aren’t just career moves…they’re acts of service.
I refuse to stop chasing until I’m living in the answer. When you’ve carried something in your heart this long, it’s not just a wish anymore—it’s a calling.

Not gonna lie - our generation is facing some real challenges. The economic pressures are intense, and sometimes it feels like we inherited a tougher starting point than we deserved.
But what keeps me steady is having a clear plan and showing up for it consistently, even on the hard days.
To anyone reading this who’s going through it: Find your plan. Stay consistent with it. It’s going to be difficult - no sugar-coating - but persistence pays off in time.
