A Chinese internet user posted a complaint, saying, "When it comes to the quality of its people, China will never catch up to Taiwan."

The comment came after a recent incident in which a Taiwanese, carrying cash for an upcoming trip abroad, accidentally dropped the money all over the road while riding his scooter/motorcyle. He didn't notice that.

Fortunately, passing Taiwanese car owners refused to keep the money they found. Instead, they voluntarily called the police, got off their vehicles, gathered up the scattered cash, and handed it over to the officers.

These actions left many Chinese internet users stunned. According to the post, if the same thing had happened in China, the money would have been snatched up by a crowd of elderly women.

In China, anything left unattended is regarded free for the taking. Not even the surveillance cameras lining the streets would be able to identify who took it.

This reminds me of the Japanese's civilization level.
