We did! Together with Year 4s & 5s, took a look at the #AngloSaxon Royal Burial Grounds, had a mock dig to find out about archaeology processes, handled replica treasures & saw some originals. Great being involved in school sessions @NT_SuttonHoo over 2 days this week. Loved it.
A trip to the Bury St Edmund's Suffolk Archives for a museums & libraries network meeting involved a fun go at an escape room activity for their fab D/deaf project. The visit had to be combined with going to a museum afterwards. Hello Moyse's Hall Museum! @MoysesHallNews
Enjoyed a hard hat tour (with ladder-climbing!) of our new, community pub, The George. This Tudor building is being renovated back to life after a fire, thanks to Lottery funding & a lot of local effort. Looking forward to using it when it opens next spring.
I am planning away. Planning something. Something big.
I want to spill the beans but for now I know I shouldn't.
Fellow advocates of #SEND and #Access in #Museums the 20th and 21st March 2025 will be worth holding in your diaries.
4 varied presentations full of learning (including if I may say, one from me!) @SEMFederation's study morning today on putting #DisabilityAccess into action. Enjoyed hearing about great work in N. Herts, Cambridge, Suffolk. Thanks for inviting me to share recent a sensory project

Really interesting presentation by Tim Pestell about the redevelopment of @NorwichCastle Impressed by all the access improvements especially the installation of a #ChangingPlaces toilet. Great! #shareconf24
Great to have an all-female panel discussion on inclusive recruitment at #shareconf24 Well done for calling out the lack of women in senior museum posts as reflected in the male-dominated list of speakers at today's event. Sadly its so normal I hadn't noticed!
@NorwichCastle for sadly the last SHARE Museums East conference. A meeting of a very positive group of professionals despite extremely challenging times in the heritage & cultural sector. Looking forward to lots of learning, sharing & inspiration. #shareconf24
I've just written to my MP calling on the government to introduce autism training for all education staff. Add your voice and support @AmbitiousAutism and its Written Off? campaign: https://t.co/G5hl7ioZ0B
You know you've moved to a rural area when around 100 tractors decorated with lights & some with festive tableaux, process through your village! Admittedly not good for carbon emissions but great for the charities benefitting & fun for us onlookers. #WickhamMarket
