@UnitedLeeds_1 I would say no!
Great in the C/ship but has struggled at PL level.
Spurs do not want him.
At least with Wilson and DCL other PL teams wanted to sign them, its apparent other PL clubs do not want Solomon.
Who would he replace?
@GiantLeedsFan We have a reasonable record of getting players from Young Boys.
However, I think, given the World Cup and his involvement, Leeds will be focusing on Charles and Brandt now. Appreciate Brandt is a long shot but they will still chase it to a conclusion him being a free agent.
@kennybrown1964@MichaelLUFC I believe they are looking but good Left Footed CH with experience or even just the qualities for the EPL are not cheap. The lad we were linked to in Portugal, is a tad younger than PS and his stats are as good as PS but the price quoted is €50m+.
@HenryMoore08 I think we remember the lads age. He reminds me, in some of his play, to an unpolished Anderson.
He will develop more and has some attributes that Anderson and others do not.
@footy_long@Matt1027461 It wouldn't break my heart if Wilson didn't come. I am indifferent to Wilson but I can see the benefits he would bring.
Brandt, despite being a year older, would be a smart move. Predominantly a 10 but has also played on the right and left with great success.
@footy_long@Matt1027461 The bookmakers appear to believe it can/will happen. They suspended all new bets on Wilson to Leeds this morning after the price tumbled to 1/3.
@davesaintsmad@ColinPearson19@SaintsExtra Saints initially denied there was any problem. When an intern, is informing senior management this isn't right and they feel uncomfortable, something is wrong.
Southampton must be the most unlucky team in history, admitted 3 spying incidents and caught 3 times.
@liedetector4547@ColinPearson19@SaintsExtra There was no specific rule at that time. Bielsa and Leeds were essentially fined for "ungentlemanly conduct"! Bielsa and Leeds admitted the offence immediately, they didn't try to worm out of it.
After the Bielsa and Leeds incident a specific rule was created. It's simple.
@ExpatTennisFan@allleedsaway It's subjective I know but he is our best defender in my opinion. He is also left footed and quality left footed CH are as rare as rocking horse droppings.
Add in that he is a ball playing CH with his best years still to come and he becomes even harder to replace.
Keep.
@sami_darr It could be as much as £3m to pay him off. Sadly, we cannot give him away, he will stay.
Like Jack Harrison, £9m to get rid of him too.
Unless the desire to play football trumps money in the bank they will see out their contracts on their arse. A subsidised loan maybe?
If #LUFC sell CH Struijk and sign #WWFC CH Krejci to replace him, it would be utter madness in my opinion. He isn't in the same "post code" as Struijk in terms of skill and defending qualities.
I will admit it may be a PSR decision but still, it's a step backwards.
@NOS74 Sorry for my delay responding.
He is a Red Bull boy and as a result "local" outlets have linked Leeds in any transfer speculation. We all know how that works but regardless, at this stage, he wouldn't be a bad signing!
Maurits Kjærgaard 22yo AMF at RB Salzburg and option to Romano Schmid. MK fits the #LUFC blueprint. 1.92m tall, a beast 10 with a killer pass/goal. Left footed but favours the right and is used to the hard pressing, a B Aaronson replacement. £15m with his best years to come.
@MrPeacock1989@Plettigoal This lad would be the LUFC number one for a few years too. He is ambitious but has the talents to support his ambition. A good substitute for Trafford who will probably go to NUFC and cheaper.
