Kilka osób, objętych płomieniami, nie wyszło. Reszta ciężko poparzona przeszła. Ponieważ nie nadawali się do dalszego transportu, doprowadzono ich do szpitalu. Cierpienia ich były straszne : wypalone oczy, twarze, otwarte rany, tylko 1/3 tych ofiar przeżyła, reszta zmarła wśród nieludzkich mąk".
